There was a donut eating contest
If you leave a donut unattended Trevor was sure to take your place...sorry #12
you can turn anything into a contest...even corn husking!
Mom made shirts for all the grandkids...I guess this was instead of trying to remember all their names...now we would just call out ,"Hey #5 time for lunch"
a very complex road system was constructed
Many hours in the sandbox
Checking out one of the prizes won
You can only imagine what is being talked about with this group. AKA the BTA ( Big Talkers Association)
Beach time!
A dragon fly landed on my shorts...it was in the middle of devouring a wasp
I swear I was holding a fish! It slipped right out of my hands, you can kind of see the splash in the lower right corner. Ask Andrew he was fishing too!
Hot wheels race Cottage style!!!
Grandpa and #5
We had a hoot celebrating all the kids birthdays this weekend
We went for a nature walk
We saw this "teenage" bald eagle by it's nest. These guys can't fly yet which is why we could get this close without it flying off.
The last morning there. I took the kids fishing one last time and our guy caught a jack!
Also I lost my cell phone battery in the lake.
It is so hard to leave the lake with water this calm!

First of all, you don't ever have to call #5 for lunch, she just knows and shows up. The BTA has to talk about something. August long is our Annual General Meeting. And 3rd, I was just helping #12 place better, she tagged out and I stepped in like a Champ to help out!
WOW!! I love the look of your blog!! It's amazing how the background stays still and the pictures move.
Looks like you had a great time at the lake - thanks for sharing the awesome photos and memories.
