-to watch the crops slowly turn a beautiful golden color
-to see back to school sales
-to buy back to school stuff
-to label all the back to school stuff
-to see apples slowly become ripe
-to see Christmas stuff come out in Costco already
-to see all the warm cozy sweaters come out on the clothing racks
-to realize that I have got hardly anything done on the house this summer
-to not see my dad getting on the combine for a ride on his field
-to eat fresh potatoes out of the garden
-to start designing Christmas cards for a card class
-to realize this was a summer for our family to actually be a family again
-to be thankful...as I should every season
