Really?

*The following post is all about individual opinion and personal taste. *

Just like art is about individual taste so is fashion. I realize that people appreciate different styles and fit when it comes to clothes. What looks good on one person does not usually flatter the next. Any more cliches I might have missed? Fashion also has a way of making resurgences. I think something from every era has made it's way back into style. Like the Pencil skirt, bleached jeans, distressed jeans, oversized bags, jumpsuits, and the list goes on. Some have been good comebacks, like longer t-shirts, I hated when everything was cropped...that was my worst night mare! But to the knee boots....this has been my most favourite.
Those who know me know I like to shop, I like to find good deals, I like to go to thrift stores or second hand stores and find those treasures. I also have been known to pull out the sewing machine a make my own clothes, I actually hope to do more of this! I am not saying I am the worlds most fashionable stay at home mom. But i do like to see what's trendy and what is coming in style the next season.
I subscribed to a magazine called Wish. Which for some reason is no longer. So I was informed that the remainder of my subscription would be filled by another fashion magazine. Let's just say I REALLY miss the Wish magazine. It was more in line with my lifestyle and budget. Paying $5,985 for a sweater is not in my budget. I do not regularly shop at Holt Renfrew because the nearest one is over 7 hours away. So after my first copy of the new magazine I called the magazine company and asked if I could switch to a different to a different one, they said sure, how about Toronto Life? I asked them if they had my address in front of them, they said yes, I asked if they seriously thought I would enjoy that magazine, the response was, " Oh yeah I guess not". So I was going to get Canadian Living instead. I was excited. Well that was over a year ago and they haven't switched it yet, even after I called back and had the same conversation.

ANYWAYS... I just got the Sept issue of this replacement magazine and this was one of the upcoming fall trends...

Really? This is one example of what should be left to the 80's. Okay so maybe the shape of the skirt is a little updated. This skirt will not be making it into my closet. And I think Trevor would actually agree on this one.

BTW the skirt cost $2, 120 but that is Canadian money mind you.
