So we indulged in sweets, movies, swimming and mini golf! The movies of choice were: Secretariat, Flicka 3 and Wild Stallion. And I watched War Horse one evening. Sensing a theme here? As Trevor says...yeah it's a boys were gone theme.
We did swimming twice, once some friends join us and of coarse we had donuts after! We went Mini golfing at Crickle Creek, just outside of Saskatoon. It was a pretty hot day and I love that they have trees along the coarse that you can hide under while watching the other person. They also have about 8 HUGE inflatable bouncers. I thought I would be sitting under the trees on a bench and just let my girl go wild bouncing away. Yeah not so much. It was more of me trying to convince her to go down the slides on these things. I guess most of the inflatables were slides and she does not like rides or anything fast. There was one she would go on because it was curved and didn't go as fast. And it was smokin' hot by then and her water bottle was empty pretty quick. So what else could I do but get us some ice cream and sit on the deck in the shade.
