No more Plywood!

After having tile sit around for about 2 years we finally got it installed in our kitchen. Luckily after 2 years I am still happy with our choice. It took us pretty much a day. I was happy we did the more intricate part first, around the window. The second wall behind the stove we just flew through.

So after staring at a plywood backsplash for 2 years this looks so much better.

Other projects going on are:
- more doors getting installed, which will need to be painted.
-working on the drywall screw pop-outs and then painting over them( which will be almost half our house getting painted)
- Designing and installing closet organizers, which Trevor is making himself
-and then there's the the ever present fireplace. More plywood staring at us. We have the stone for it, it's just getting up the nerve to actually do it.

It looks awesome. Nice choice and good work installing it. The saying is that finishing is 10% of the job but takes 90% of the time is so accurate. I just quit looking at drywall patches in the basement staircase (where I dropped the ladder after I painted the wall the first time) as I finally patched and painted it again after 3 years!!
Good luck with the rest of the projects - looking forward to more great reveals.
