We had a day when Trevor was at his convention so we wandered over to Downtown Disney. It is free to park there(for 3 hours) and wander around and get immersed in some of the Disney magic. You can buy all the souvenirs you want to make it look like you spent 7 days at all the Disney parks.
The Lego store, the one place my son was looking forward to the most. He loves it there. All the different themes and sets...and then there is that awesome Lego wall. He spent probably 30 minutes filling his container with all the bits, pieces and wheels he doesn't have from his big sets. And the lady working there was REALLY generous with letting us fill the little container to overflowing and then taping it shut and then she still stuffed more pieces in. He got 538 pieces of Lego for $15. The Mennonite in me was thrilled!
Doing his best Hulk(made out of Lego)
I didn't notice till later that even the rocks were made out of Lego
Of coarse we had to stop for the Princesses
Sea World-Orlando
We have never been to Sea World, it is related to Busch Gardens. You can get adult passes for Both parks for $130 and you can go to both parks as many times as you want for 14 days from the first day you go.(Make sense?) If you have coaster lovers and animal lovers in your family, these are the parks to go to. Both very different, which is obvious that Sea Word is aquatic animals.
Our family usually splits off into two when we go these parks. The guys go for the rides, and the girls go for the animals and shows. We meet up for lunch and closing. I think Trevor said they did over 35 coaster rides in the 4 days at these 2 parks.
A Sea Dragon
The Killer whale show was ah-MAZING!!! Even the guys will admit to liking it.
We actually went to see it twice and actually they had different tricks they did each time. To see a 12,000 lb Killer Whale do a Belly slide across the whole stage was really cool. If you sit in the Soak Zone, it is that, a soak zone. You WILL get very wet. They warn you before the show but yet people still get freaked out when they get wet.
This coaster was cool. They actually lean you forward so you are kinda flying like Superman. It is called Manta. My 2 are of coarse in the front row.
There are some beautiful gardens to see as well.
Ridin' the whale
This was a highlight, feeding the Dolphins. It is a must do for your animal lover. $7 and you get a small tray and a guaranteed Dolphin touch.
Even Dad had to Belt up on the Merry go round
Coming off the water ride a little waterlogged
Yes we were actually together some of the time.
Our daughter has announced she now wants to be Sea World animal trainer. She is truly an animal lover, it is so awesome to see her eyes light up at every animal we saw there. Even the very stinky and noisy Sea Lions.

Memories of a life time for all of you! Glad you pulled the kids from school and did it. They are busy learning other lessons and can catch up on the tiny bit they missed once home. ENJOY!
