Project Complete!!!

If you have been following my Blog for a while you will recall a while back I was looking for a bulletin Board to put up in my kitchen to display all the wonderful pictures I receive at Christmas and throughout the year. Well that project finally got finished. I just need my husband to hang it for me.So here is a short glimpse of my project:

I started with this cabinet door. I found this at Habitat for Humanity. I love that store it is never the same twice. Then sanded it down and painted it black. I found really thick cork at the dollar store and glued it in place. I really like using Tack 2000 spray adhesive, that stuff will make ANYTHING stick together!!

Then I used some of my Stampin' Up! Designer Paper and tacked them on with tiny black tacks.
Like I said, now I just need my Husband to hang it for me!

Melanie,
I knew you could create something wonderful out of nothing (just like Phoebe's book!). It looks great. Isn't it fun to start and finish a little project like that!
And perfect timing - you can fill it with christmas cards!

Wow, that looks awesome, Mel! I too am in search of a bulletin board for my kitchen, but anything that I've found in stores is too small and now that I've seen what you've done, maybe I'll have to make my own. Thanks for the inspiration!
