Royal Birthday

I can't believe my little guy is 7! It was his royal birthday today because he turned 7 on the 7th. Food, friends, family and The Cave.

Soccer was the theme of choice. I thought for sure we were going for Lightening McQueen birthday #3.
The cake. This is really the easiest cake I have made yet. But I did need imported black sugar from Winnipeg (thanks Tanya and JoDee).

The friends.

The games.
In case you can't see that is a paint roller he is using to push a styrofoam ball around pylons. They also played Boccer- Bowling+soccer= Boccer. We had a bowling lane with 20 2L bottles and had to knock them down with a soccer ball.

As a family we went our for supper to The Cave. Birthday boy's choice.
