A friend of mine and myself threw a "New To Town" Pizza party. We invited everyone who has moved into town inthe last year. We had 71 new people come witha total of 130 people attending. It was awesome! I got to meet so many new people and put faces to names.
Our little guy started Kindergarten this year. He was sooooo excited and loves going.
He ran all the way to school. I had to tell him to slow down so I could get a picture.
It was like " see ya later mom" and he was off getting right in there.
Then it was our little girl's turn for her first day of playschool. She was just as excited but a little disappointed that she did not get a lunch bag to bring along.
Miss Independant
It works out well that they go to school on the same day. There were 25 kids in Kindergarten so they split the class between town kids and bus kids. So every Tuesday and Thursday mornings I get 2 hours to myself...whatever will I do?
Well on Thursday mornings "Moms Meeting Moms" group meeting in my house.
The rest of my summer was taken up with painting. I was painting at the church and still have some to do to finish the project I was working on. And also painting Bathrooms, trim and closet doors . My latest project was our son's room which was John Deere Green, now to some of you that isn't a bad thing but when your husband works for New Holland, it doesn't go over so well. Also with the bedroom came painting the whole basement because we were getting new carpet installed, just this last week. So this week I have taken time off from painting but must resume to finish at the church and the rest of the closet doors and windows in our house. here are some before and after pictures...just remember we hve not done the new trimm yet.

As a great little break Trevor and I went to a Sheryl Crow concert last night. The best part was that the tickets were free! At work Trevor was at the right place at the right time!
Well I hope that catches you up on some things for now, hopefully I can stay a little more on top of things for now.
Take care and have a great fall!
