Not so Great

I finally have a cute little story to blog about. Everyone seems to have these cute/weird conversations with their kids. Not the case in our house,I guess they just internalize everything. Now this not the pee yourself laughing type of story, but one of those cute and maybe you had to be there story. None the less it is proof that my kids do have interesting conversations .

So the other day Trevor was installing a light above my kitchen sink, I have been awaiting this for awhile. When he was done he went to the light switch beside the sink and counted to 3 with the kids and then turned it on. It worked(no surprise here Trevor is pretty good with electrical)and then our 4 year old said " Daddy you're so great ". Then Trevor went over to the main kitchen light switch to turn it off and see how bright it will be . When he turned off the switch, the newly installed light turned off as well, oh oh, that was not supposed to happen. Trevor turned the light back on and we both stood bewildered as to what the heck was going on with the wiring. Then we heard from the little guy,"Daddy you're not so great anymore" . This has not shaken Trevor's abilities in my eyes but I guess he will have to earn back the trust of our 4 year old.
