It's Gettin' There!

Well here is a looksee at my kitchen so far. It has come a long way , we still have a few things to finish. Like the ceiling, the trim , the light island and painting out the windows white. Then comes the fun stuff, buying blinds and bar stools. I am vowing that these little details will not become one of those projects that takes 2 years to do. I want a totally done project! The only thing that is out of our control is when we can get someone to stipple our ceiling for us, we are told it won't be before December. I just have to give 2 very big thumbs up to Warren Jeschke, our cabinet maker. Not only did he do an awesome job on making the cabinets but the poor guy had to endure + 35 outside with our house being +29 inside while installing the cabinets. I think we are looking at getting air conditioning. He also had to put up with our 4 year old advisor, watching every move he made and wanting to help at any chance he was given.
I am heading to Calgary next week and want to get some cool organizing gadgets for the drawers from Ikea (I get giddy talking about organizing gadgets). Trevor is worried that now that I have more cabinet space that I will go out and buy stuff to fill the empty spaces. He only has to worry a little bit, because I want to put all of the wedding gifts that I have never had room for , into the empty spaces. Stuff like all my vases for the flowers he never gets me and good china that we never use.
