Yup, still here!

Hello? Anybody still out there?
Guess it's been a while since I've been here.

In all honesty I did have a few posts planned over the last few months, but just haven't had time or the energy. So here is a little bit of catch up...

Some fish was caught at the cottage this August long weekend. This was actually 1 of 4 her caught.

There was the hot wheels races again, grandma's wild a wacky games, beach games and lots of food!

One of the favourite moments is the candy scramble.

And yes I actually donned the water skiis. I just made sure we were out on the middle of the lake where no one could watch. It felt great! But boy were my arms sore when I finished.

The highlight of our summer was the family road trip. 14 days 7000 kms and tons 'o fun!
We started in Fort Benton Montana visiting some friends on a custom harvest crew.  What a great town, so full of History. Then off to Yellowstone. I had never been there, but Trevor had been as a kid. He was so excited to show his family.

Old Faithfull

Buffalo definitely rule the roads down there.

Probably one our family's fav sites...Lower falls.

Mount Rushmore

The caves were soooo cool!

We went to Jewel cave, Wind Cave and Rushmore cave.
ah yes Reptile Gardens...all things slimy and creepy

And things that can kill you.

and then there was these cute guys

*shivers*

Rented a ATV and hit the hills! It was 3 out of 4 of us loved it...
one would of rather been on a horse...can you guess who that was?

Trevor had to stop at Wall Drug

heading east to Wisconsin Dells.

Duck boat tours

Wisconsin Dells...known as the Disney World of the north...I called it Las Vegas for kids on a sugar high. Totally touristy, but a pretty awesome place. If you love water parks this is the place for you!
World's largest water park. Lots of Mini golf. And great food. You must go to Lumberjack Cooking shanty...best brisket EVER!!! Pass on the gelato down town, not good at all. But then I am comparing to Italy...nothing compares to Italy.

Tommy Bartlett's Water Ski show. Our dude loved it and this guy was hilarious!

So that was a glimpse of our trip. It was awesome! Pretty great weather, a couple of rain storms.
If you want to know more about places we saw, just ask! One word of advice, do your research for Wisconsin Dells, don't pay full price for anything! There are coupons for everything everywhere!

So that brought us back to school. I always wish the summer would be longer, but routine is good and the kids were excited to see their friends again.

Getting fall work done. Trevor moving dirt around with his escort Bella.

My 2 cuties! How they grow up so fast.

So there you have it, up to date. Thanksgiving weekend is upon us and that means food, family and lots of kids running around!
Happy fall everyone!
