so the first one is the teacher gift.
I got a canister from a dollar store, then painted chalkboard paint on the lid. Made coloured popcorn, and added some jelly beans. Attached a card and done!
Sorry Mrs. Buekert if you are still reading this, just act surprised when my daughter gives this to you.
My son did the painting of hem. He was quite excited about this project as we both know how much she is just gonna love these. And is was great to see him so into it.
So these are all the ones we made. I really like how the Canada flag one turned out. And she loves butterflies and flowers.
These 2 represent her favourite colours. The pink/white/brown one is how her room is painted.
So the supplies used was:
1"x1" scrap wood
coffee stir sticks for the base
wooded shish kabob skewers
wooden dowels
wood glue
hot glue
craft paint
paper
punches
Tools used:
Drill to drill holes into the stands to put skewers in to hold up the poles
tin snips to cut off the pointy end of the skewers
glue gun
punches for butterflies and flowers
paint brushes
Really this project only cost me about $8 and most of that was buying new paint as mine had dried out.

Melanie,
She is going to love them! That Canada one, of course, reminds me of Spruce! And I bet it will remind her as well. You and your son did an awesome job.
Merry Christmas.
Bernie
