Once in a lifetime!
Our family went to an event the other day that is truly a once in a lifetime opportunity. We went to see combines harvest an oat field. Now what's so unique about that you say? Well imagine watching 249 combines going at once. I'm talking about a 1 mile long line of combines!! It was awesome! It was a Guinness World Record. And it was also a fundraiser for Harvest for Kids, an organization that sends kids in developing countries to camp.
Yellow, Green, Red...colour didn't matter, it was about the kids! To see that many farmers bring their machines out for this event was huge. For a lot of farmers, it took about 1 hour to drive their combines out there. Dealerships were sending like 18 of their own combines out there, also rallying some of their customers to come out as well. The former record was broken in Ireland in July this year at 208 combines...Saskatchewan had 249!!! 7 minutes to combine 2 quarters of land.

I figured you would be there but of course I never saw you! What an amazing amount of people hey! It was cool to be part of a Guiness Record even if it was only watching. They should have suggested a parking fee and they would have made even more money.
