When we moved out of our house in town we moved our play structure to what we thought was a great and safe place for our kids to play while we built our house. Little did we know that it would rain the next 2 summers like it has never rained in many years. And that the spot we put it would now become a swamp. errrgh!
So today we moved it to beside the house. There were some very happy faces, one of them is mine.
You can kind of see on the rock wall where it sat in water for 2 years.
We figured this is nice and close to the house and when we put our deck up it will be super handy.
I think to make up for the last 2 years the kids will be swinging on this all winter.

ah yes those temporary solutions!! I'm sure the kids will enjoy it for many years. And look - it is on a lawn for added fun and benefits!
i am so excited for you (and the kids too) yard progress is just as exciting as house progress!
