What my son is 8? Yikes! Man does time fly by. Well another birthday party means another cake. This one came at a very busy time. So I was very thinkful that he asked for an angel food cake which I could make ahead. And he doesn't like buttercream icing much so whipping cream it was. Which is easy to make and easy to color. And the shark I made ahead as well.
Sharks was the theme. He and 8 friends watched the movie Shark Tale after a pizza lunch. And each kid went home with a shark tooth necklace( thanks to Grandma Rempel being in Florida at just the right time) instead of a candy treat bag.
The shark actually made it's appearance on 2 cakes. This one and then another one that I made for a family Celebration. I really do like this fondant thing!
