Then after looking on the internet for a cute idea, all these fondant cakes cake up. They always look so cool. I love to watch Cake Boss and Ace of Cakes. So after watching numerous videos on You tube I thought I would give it a try. I started by making my own fondant out of marshmallows ...that was the easy part. Now I know why Cake Boss has that machine that thins out fondant...my arms were killing me after rolling it all out!
Here is my first fondant cake...
It wasn't the original design I had in my head, but I think it turned out pretty good. All I know is that I won't be doing these regularly. They are a lot of work.

It looked great and it tasted wonderful! I was so hungry for chocolate cake it was like you read my mind!
The cake looks great! I love those t.v. shows too. I didn't know you could make fondant out of marshmallows!
