A glimpse into my world

I sat and looked at my blog title today. " Musings of a Prairie Girl". And wondered what popped into people's minds when they saw the title. My own list came to my mind: simple, wholesome, boring, tractor talk, cow talk,pets, apple pie. Not that I think I am describing myself( at least I hope I am not). I do have to say though that there are some perks to being a "Prairie" girl. Not as much noise, trees all around you, space, and a good wiener roast!!

Well today I opened up my world to be for some people today. I threw a B.Y.O.F. wiener roast today. For those who don't know what that means, it stands for Bring Your Own Food. Ya'll bring your own wieners and buns and potluck eveything else( potluck means share for those who still don't get it). You sit around, watch your kids play nicely, for the most part, and roast hotdogs and visit. I hope eveyone had a good time, I sure did. We had the 3 F's, Fun ..Food...Fellowship! Even had Freezies!I guess that would be 4 F's then. I hope to make this some sort of Bi-Weekly event.
