I have to admit today was probably the first day I actually went outside for the sake of going outside. I wandered around the yard looking at the garden and flower beds. The kids looked at their play structure longingly. So I ventured into our garden shed, which has not seen any daylight since fall, and I pulled out their swings and hooked them up. They got on their perspective swings and began pumping for all they were worth. "Happy Spring" is what I heard coming from somewhere in the air. As I wondered around I grabbed my camera and took some shots of the signs that Summer...yes summer... in on it's way.
Yay! He's turning brown!!!
Some one left this behind...I'm thinking a magpie?
Can't you hear the giggling from this picture?
The other sign is that my Parents are on their way home from Texas.
The snowbirds are returning.
As for Easter, it was pretty quiet around here. We went to Sherbrook to have Faspa with My Aunt Adina. We all brought some food and gathered in a small room and visited. It was good. I watched Adina through out the afternoon and I think she sat there with a smile on her face the whole time. Like I said, it was good. On Sunday we had a pizza dinner with some friends. And then had an Egg Hunt for the kids in the afternoon. The kids have no school this week but I have a feeling they will be spending a lot of time outside on those swings.
