So when Santa came this Chistmas he left behind some really cool gifts, one being a "Sno Rider"( a sled) for our little guy. He was so excited because on Tuesdays he is allowed to bring it to school because that is the Kindergarten day. So we told him that we would take him out on the school hill to show him the right way to go down the hill so he doesn't get hurt( yeah I know , I'm an overprotective mom, it was either this or wearing a helmut). We also came accross a saucer at Value Village. So out we went on Sunday afternoon. Our little girl hates cold, I do not exaggerate, she hates it. I sometime think she would rather be wintering with my parents in Texas ( wouldn't we all some days). She went down 2 times and then gave up and wanted to go in. The weather was not too bad out, a little windybut not near -25. Our guy on the other hand went down any way he could, even showing us how he rolls down the hill, slides on his butt, and slides on his tummy.
Rolling down the hill
So on tuesday, is the big day , he gets to take the sled along. Well in the rush to get out of the house we forget the sled. After dropping our girl off at Playschool, I go home and get the sled and place it by the other sleds at the back door. So after school we get home and I ask how it went with the sled. Here is his version of events. " well it was REALLY windy out and no one wanted to go out, but when my people saw my sled they wanted to go out out. So we went out and I went down first and then let my people take turns, and my people all really liked it that I was sharing." My son has peeps!! I was trying to hold in my giggles, but that was too funny. And he did not hurt himself!!
