Spur of the Moment

Call it a crime of opportunity , spontineity, rash decision, or daring, but it was a rush. I just walked into a salon and asked if they could cut my hair right then. Having no kids with me(thanks mom!)and having some time left in the day, it just all fit together. Maybe it was divine intervention(well maybe that's taking it a little to far)? I was in need of a trim but I have been growing my hair out for a while and after some time I just get itchy for a change whether it be the color of the style. So I went for a shorter cut . It feels pretty good. Since moving away from Manitoba and losing my hair guy who has cut my hair for 8 years, I felt very vulnerable. I do have trust issues when it comes to my hair. I also have problems commuicating well what I want done and after having a guy who could read my mind and could do no wrong, it has been hard letting someone get near me with scissors. I felt comfortable as she cut it and I am quite pleased with the outcome. I might even go back and let her color my hair, that is a whole different ball of wax. Who knows maybe Trevor will come back from his trip to a blonde or a redhead, or a brunette with blonde highlights. All in all I am not scarred emotionally or physically and I might even go back to the same place.
