Spruce Meadows

Well, after a quick weekend to Calgary and back I must say I am a little exhausted. It was a good time though. It was great to catch up with family and see my niece Show jumping her horse. Of course I made time for Ikea and I was not disappointed. Trevor stayed home to catch up on work in our Kitchen although it sounds like he was out and about more than he was working. One disappointment was not being able to see the mountains at all while we were there. I did stop in at the old house in Didsbury, I met the new owners and they seem really happy with the house. After saying a quick hello to some friends we got on Calgary, luckily we were heading into the city at rush hour and not the other way. The weather was pretty good but it got cold on Sunday, but at least the rain held out. It was a great weekend and one little munchkin quite enjoyed being an "only child" for a couple of days. Although she did give her big brother a big hug when we got home.
